In August 2005 our missions team 
made a trip to the Klintsy orphanage in Russia, and held a week long Vacation Bible School

Our missionary with Word Of Life has sent these prayer requests.

Remember "when two or three are gathered in my name I am there."

Please pray along with John on these requests that are on his heart.

Prayer Request

• Brandon to have wisdom as he leads 4 Superbowl rallies in New England.

• Janelle to grow in her relationship with God this year at WOL Bible Institute.

• Tyler to stay fresh in God’s Word as he disciples guys at WOL Bible Institute.

• John and Pam to have regular time together in God’s word.

• John working on all the detail for our Superbowl on 11/7.

• For Pam’s unsaved family members to be saved.

• Open doors for 4 new churches to start WOL this by June 2009.

• John making plans for our leadership training coming up on 11/22 & 12/6.

• John to have wisdom as he works on the mini series curriculum.

• John and Pam helping out at a teen gym night outreach event on 11/16.

• Students to be saved at the Superbowl on 11/7.

• Rochester Superbowl 11/7

• Elmira Superbowl 11/14

• Albany Superbowl 11/21.

• John’s unsaved family members to come to Christ.

We need to pray for our missionaries to Africa. They have been trying to

teach or take classes over there and have hit many road blocks. They are

discouraged but at the same time knowing God is in control. They also

need our prayers as they are still trying to get into the area they feel God

wants them. Continue to pray for the opening of a job in a school or the

acceptance into the University there. Pray for the relationships they have

and will form as they await the next steps in the journey God has and will

be taking them.

 

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep one`s self from being polluted by the world . Word of Life Local Church Ministries

As an area missionary John helps local churches develop vibrant youth ministries in south central ,NY.

and North Eastern Pa. A friend to pastors and local churches ,John has a heartbeat for discipleship and evangelisim. He is focused on reaching thousands of children and teens for Christ. We are blessed to have him around and we give financially to his work..

 

Missionary Family to the Middle East

We are currently supporting a missionary family to the middle east. We were pleased 
to meet them and their new baby in December 2006. They are living in a one room furnished apartment. Please pray that they will have the opportunity to teach English
and learn more about the people and their culture. Pray for wisdom and protection.

 

PENNIES FOR PERU


Prompted by an article in 1993 telling of thousands of street kids in LIMA ,Peru. Leaders of a church in Pa.
started a program called" throwaway coins for throwaway kids" The idea was that the money be used to 
somehow buy food for the street children of Lima. Today those funds are channeled through BCM international to reach boys & girls in Peru...      http://www.bcmintl.org/

HCC MISSIONS

The Torrejon’s in Bolivia

Our missionary friends, Raul and Carolla Torrejon and family sent us pictures of what they recent bought for their house with money we sent to help with needs they had with their recent move from Peru to Bolivia.  They are in Bolivia with BCM International starting a new ministry of evangelism and outreach that involves taking the gospel into the jungles where there are so many needs.  Recently, they went to Santa Cruz, a city in the Bolivian jungles to help with a missions conference.  Raul was an interpreterfor two American speakers who didn’t speak Spanish during the conference.  The Torrejon’s send their thanks for helping them in their transition from their homeland of Peru to Bolivia

 

                             

Back Mountain Food Pantry

Don’t forget to bring food in on Sundays and put them into the white cans.

We need to remember that no matter how bad it may get for us, it is

worse for someone else. Love others that is what we do!!!

Pennies for Peru

Continue to bring in your pennies or save them for the kids collection the
